The Whole Family

This is H.T.'s family. The big cat is H.T.'s brother, Sage. His grief is internal and quiet. He sleeps a lot. But I know he loves his brother because once H.T. broke his pelvis and when I put his howling self into a cat carrier, Sage was stressing out. He thought I was hurting his brother. So I observed the thoughts in his head as he, Sage, calculatingly, circled behind me to bite me on the bum to rescue his brother!!!
