"This is very sad but very true. For every Native American child that is removed and put in the system, South Dakota gets money. No one cares where the children are placed or with whom. They have often been placed with people previously charged with crimes against children—being removed from what MIGHT have been a bad situation to one even worse. There's so much more involved in the removal and placement of Native American children than people will ever know. But the one thing that can be agreed on is that South Dakota needs to stop running "Child Mills" using Native American children!" –a "Native Causes" writer
