The Milagro Beanfield War

The telling of one man's struggle as he defends a small beanfield and community against much larger business and political interests. Residents of the agricultural community of fictitious "Milagro" face a crisis when politicians and business interests make a backroom deal to usurp the town's water in order to pave the way for __________. This leads to confrontations with the powerful political interests, including hired guns brought in from "out-of-the-community." An escalation of events follows, leading to a final showdown between "law enforcement" and the citizens of Milagro.
